Cape Town
An Urban Immersion

please click to CONTACT US

If one day in and around Cape Town is too short for you to ask all the questions you have or to see all the community activities you may want to see, TALK Tourism can arrange for you to stay with the family of your guide for a night or more.

In this way, you will have more time to get to know about urban African cultures and contemporary South African ways of life. Meeting family members across the generations will provide you with enriching insights into the development of our country. You will also have the opportunity to socialise with the family and the neighbours in local gathering places.

If the opportunity arises, you may be able to participate in community functions such as weddings, funerals or cultural rituals.

You will live in ordinary homes giving you a genuine experience of family life. While you may not have all the luxuries and comforts of a hotel or a bed 'n breakfast, you will become part of the family and make friends for life.
